Love syndrome
Love is a strong attachment between people. Once love is produced, it will give people special energy. What we think of a beautiful love is not necessarily the same, just like many great love stories are so beautiful, maybe we don't know what is hidden behind the seemingly beautiful love. There are too many things we need to learn, such as mutual tolerance, and women are the ones who are more likely to pay and hurt in love. Once the true love has been hurt, they don’t want to love again, and they can’t afford the courage to love. This is an expression of incompetence.
This group of photography "Love Syndrome" explores the damage that love poses to women, and shows the uniqueness and artistry of conceptual photography through the idea of shooting, the shooting process and the description of the content of the work itself. Exaggerated, absurd photography techniques, plus some later processing to express this group of works.
My inspiration comes from the work "uneasy poetry" by Taiwanese photographer Yung Cheng Lin. He is a poet with a camera, whose fantastic style brings the viewer into the surreal dimension. Through the body deformation and distortion, one can feel the pain and discomfort jumping out of the picture, and the photographed body exists in new ways with its own body and life, so that the photographer can shout out the most favorable sound through the lens. His photography was abusive and even stomach-churning, and each photo caused an unpleasant reaction from the audience. The sense of horror in some photos is obvious -- they either distort the human body or take on an uncomfortable Angle. Other disturbing images are hard to tell: the images are detached from the plot, telling the story through subtle feelings.
The creative process:
I shot models in the studio environment to create pictures. Before shooting, I had already planned my ideas and thoughts in my mind and had the picture I wanted to shoot. When shooting, I put the camera on the tripod, connected with external flash, white background cloth, and prepared gauze, clip and other filming props. When shooting, I adjusted the parameters such as the focal length aperture, and the whole shooting process was smooth.
